"Mary Help of Christians Preschool is a part-time developmental program that facilitates children from the ages of 18 months to 5 years. The preschool hours are 9:00am to 12 noon with an extended day until 3:00 PM. Enrichment programs in Spanish, Music, Math/Science or Literacy and Language Arts are offered from 12:00 – 2:15. The Math and Science or the Literacy and Language Arts Enrichment programs are offered only for the children in the 4 year-old program. The children attend weekly age-appropriate Chapel talks, where stories from the Bible are brought to life and related to the lives of the children, (i.e. telling the story of The Loaves and Fishes leads to talking to the children about what sharing means to them). Christian concepts are incorporated into the daily classroom environment through prayer and example. At Mary Help of Christians Preschool we provide a safe nurturing environment where children can come and explore, experiment and stretch the limits of their imaginations. They can try their ideas in an atmosphere of trial and error where failure is never an issue. Play is the work of children. We believe in developing the whole child, therefore, we give equal importance to social, emotional, cognitive, language and motor development. "
