Our practice believes in the importance of maintaining a natural environment within your mouth. So much so, in fact, that we’re spearheading care and treatment plans that we refer to as “Organic Pediatric Dentistry”. Any reputable pediatric dentist wants their patients to have healthy teeth and a great smile, but the methods we use to achieve these goals tend to be quite different than those employed by traditional pediatric dentists. Understanding these differences will help you appreciate them.
An important service that we provide includes correcting lip tie and tongue ties, that may be causing breastfeeding latch and supply problems. These can be corrected by a procedure called frenectomy. Typically, this procedure is performed with a scalpel and sutures in a hospital setting. However, Dr. Saadia Mohammed offers an alternative to the traditional treatment, using the most advanced technology available: Laser Frenectomy using the Waterlase iPlus laser. I invite you to get your free book HERE for more information.
