Description

About Judith

I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor who enjoy helping clients find balance between many aspects of life including but not limited to social life, career, and parenthood. I also have a lot of experience helping clients who struggle with substance abuse overcome personal obstacles to recover healthy living. I currently see adults for individual, couples, or family sessions at PsychFitness. Through numerous jobs following graduation from college, I gained the insight that working with people striving to make the best of their lives was where I found I made the greatest impact, and felt most personally rewarded and fulfilled. I have recently started working with moms suffering from post-partum depression. I earned my MS in Mental Health & Rehabilitation from Barry University in 2010. I have been working in the mental health and substance abuse field since 2009 in several settings, including community mental health, as well as both residential and outpatient substance treatment centers. I run a free support 2x a month, 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7:30pm, for moms. 1 in 8 moms are suffering from post-partum depression and I want to be able to help moms who may experience this. I am a member of the American Counseling Association.

Why Judith is passionate about helping moms:

I am a mom who became passionate about helping moms when I realized moms never take time for themselves and if mom isn’t in her a game the family dynamic does not run smoothly.
