To that end, Dr. Perlman sees every patient interaction as an opportunity to create treatment plans that reflect both medical doctrine and the belief systems of parents. In the spirit of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she uses the tenet “heal thyself” to guide families to achieve and maintain good health, by exploring how her patients eat, sleep, and deal with stress. Dr. Perlman is ethnically Thai and was raised in Michigan. She moved to Miami Beach in 2011 seeking a diverse urban area with an international outlook. She has two adolescent children and is happily married. Affectionately, she has described raising her own family as her “fellowship” — educating her on how to be an even better doctor through experience!!
