I Don’t Want My Kid To Be The Weird One

FruitI went on vacation last week with a mom that fed her daughter all fruits, vegetables and unprocessed foods.
It was eye opening and incredibly inspiring!!!

You see when you start to get older (and hopefully wiser) you find yourself learning from other moms instead of judging them.  After all, when we judge others it is only because we are insecure about ourselves.

key_art_the_real_housewives_of_orange_countyI love Nordstroms, I love fitness, I love Real Housewives Bravo TV, I love cloth diapers, I have home births, I am a Starbucks junkie, I recycle religiously, I am a book nerd, I am around very hip, business savvy Best Way to Give Birthmompreneurs, I am around amazing, healthy Doctors of Chiropractic, I am around holistic moms and medical minded moms, I am surrounded by all of these amazing, wonderful contradictions! I love it because it makes me grow and learn constantly.

BUT that being said, with our healthy lifestyle choices I never want other kids or moms to be mean to my sweetheart of a daughter Anjali.  I never want her to be judged unfairly.
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I want our girls to live long, healthy, happy lives.  I know that their nutrition is an essential component to keeping them healthy from a young age to boost their immune system and their create better brain function.

So, in our busy life where we are always traveling and on the go, I am always searching for healthy snacks to take with me.  Being with my health guru mom friend last weekend I got some great ideas and I also put together my top 10 easy, kid approved snacks!

  1. Celery and Almond Butter
  2. Cherry Tomatoes
  3. Blueberries
  4. Boiled Eggs
  5. Trail Mix with Nuts, Coconut, Raisins
  6. Homemade Power Bars
  7. Bananas
  8. Apple Chips
  9. Sliced Chicken Rolled with Up with Cheese
  10. Hummus and Cucumber or Carrots

I was amazed to see my daughter eating ALL vegetables & minimally processed snacks just
because that is all she and her friend had as options to eat while we were on vaca together.

I also listed a bunch of ideas on our ihelpmoms.com Pinterest Page!
I highly recommend Family Health Coach Rachel Feldman and Endless Organic Delivery (Use MOM5 for a discount code) as well!
