How A Negative Moment Can Turn Into A Positive
Have you ever felt so tired you weren’t sure how you would make it through the day?
Now that my toddler is FINALLY sleeping through the night, I was actually sleeping again. Lately though I was feeling excessively fatigued even though I was exercising, eating clean and going to bed at nine in the evening.
I took a pregnancy test on the 31st day of my cycle but it came back negative. I had been tracking my cervical mucus and basal body temperature, which had continued to rise, so I felt deflated as I saw the single line appear. I looked at the test baffled.
TRY, TRY AGAIN
I continued to track my basal body temperature and stared at the graph as I continued to chart my rising temperature. It was the 33rd day of my cycle and I decided to take another test. After what felt like 3 hours, I looked at the stick and tears welled up as I saw the YES + sign. Good thing I didn’t settle to believe the pregnancy test that claims to tell you up to 4 days earlier!
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and was told i
n my early twenties that having children would be difficult or might not happen. I had doctors recommend scopes, meds, and more, but I decided to take a natural route of getting NUCCA Chiropractic adjustments and worked to keep my body alkaline. And much to my joy IT WORKED! Against all of the odds my husband and I had gotten pregnant twice.
I am off to celebrate this negative turning into a positive and figure out a cool way to tell my husband we are expecting again!
