Do We Lose Brain Cells During Pregnancy?

Every morning as my husband heads out the door he gives me a kiss on the forehead and I ask him what I can pray about for his upcoming day. I do my very best listen and then promptly nestle into bed to get much needed sleep.

He came home for lunch on Wednesday and I asked him again what he wanted me to pray for. He answered ‘a high energy day’ for the second time that day. I went on washing the dishes and as he got ready to go back for the afternoon shift, I said, “What can I pray for you today?” He replied laughing, “That please God will give my wife back her memory now that the baby is here!”

Later on that day I put my keys in my stroller top making sure I didn’t lose them. I then proceeded to fold the stroller into the back of my car and stood trying to remember where I put my keys. As Anjali screamed in her car seat and I frantically searched for my keys, I seriously questioned where my memory had gone.

I pray for myself to get sleep soon so my brain can start working again!

Ready? Set? Go!
