American Made Summit
It was truly a highlight of my life to learn from Jessica Alba founder of Honest Company this weekend at the American Made Summit!!
The most important thing I learned was not what she told me but what she exemplified, which was living an honest life. Being authentic- so I took some time to reflect about how we can find our honest, authentic selves as mom’s, as wives as business women as empowered females.
1. Surround Yourself With People Who Inspire You To Grow
I got to spend the weekend traveling & talking business with a fellow ihelpmoms.com expert Natalie of HeWeLoHa. She is THE Modern Hippie Mama, while i am most definitely not! But the one thing I learned from her is how to be more peaceful. From her morning meditations, to her music, to her healthy eating….I was constantly inspired to be powerful, peaceful…..with a side of sexy;)
2. Continually Learn
I was asked what my intention was at this incredible entrepreneur summit. And my only goal was to be open. Every moment in your life is there for a reason and can be used to learn and grow into your authentic self…when you are open.
3. Take A Look In The Mirror and Embrace It
Jessica is jaw dropping-ly gorgeous, yet her warmth and ability to still joke around were endearing. I loved her ability to compliment others and to not take life too seriously. It was very apparent that she is wonderfully fulfilled internally which radiated to all of us in the audience.
There are no perfect people, no perfect moms, but I definitely saw first hand this weekend in Jessica Alba, my mompreneur hero a mom, a business owner, an innovator that showed us how living our honest self is powerful, peaceful and sexy!
