1 Step Healthy Chili for Busy Moms On The Go

I have a husband that is Crossfit Crazy and wants healthy, filling meals.  I am 7 months pregnant on the other hand and my stomach is being compressed down to the size of a walnut thanks to baby girl-to-be.  So, I am always on the lookout for recipes that don’t always include a heavy meat.  Oh and did I mention EASY recipes with a toddler hanging off of my leg? ihelpmoms.com chilith-1

Here is my guide to Busy Mom, Easy Chili:
I bought a can of Busch’s kidney beans in chili sauce, ready ground flavored tofu, diced yellow onion, minced garlic, one can tomato paste, one large can diced tomatoes and cumin.

I tossed it all in a pan and let it simmer on med low heat for 30 minutes.  Make some cornbread or scones for a side and toss a salad.

Top the chili with a little cheese and dinner served! YUM!
